Baggage rules
What you can bring, what travels in the hold, and what has to stay behind.
Cabin baggage
One cabin bag plus one small personal item such as a handbag or laptop bag. The bag must fit in the overhead locker or under the seat in front of you.
Checked baggage
A checked bag is included on regional routes. Business fares carry a higher allowance. Allowances are confirmed on your booking, and additional bags can be added before departure at a lower price than at the airport.
Items that cannot be carried
Explosives, fireworks and flammable liquids or gases.
Corrosives, oxidisers and toxic substances.
Loose lithium batteries in the hold. Spare batteries travel in the cabin.
Any item prohibited by the authorities at your origin or destination.
Special items
Sports equipment, musical instruments and mobility aids can be carried. Tell us at booking so the space is reserved. Mobility aids are carried free of charge.
Delayed or damaged baggage
Report it at the arrivals baggage desk before you leave the airport. Keep your baggage receipt, which you will need for any claim.
