Salone International Airlines was founded to fix a simple problem. Getting from Freetown to another African city too often means a long detour and a night in a third country.
Who we are
A Sierra Leonean carrier with a regional job to do
We are a passenger and cargo airline registered in Sierra Leone, with Freetown International Airport as our principal hub. Our first aircraft are narrow body jets sized for African regional demand, matched with a small charter fleet for missions that do not fit a timetable.
The airline is staffed and led largely by Sierra Leoneans, supported by experienced aviation specialists from across the continent. Everything we build, from the maintenance base to the call centre, is meant to stay in the country and grow here.
